PaperCut
PaperCut is an industry-standard printing technology that brings secure, reliable, effortless, and cost-saving print management to the district.
PaperCut is currently available at many MFP/Copiers located in:
Dennett Elementary School
Halifax Elementary School
Kingston Elementary School
Kingston Intermediate School
Silver Lake Regional High School
Silver Lake Regional Middle School
... with more locations to come!
Effortless Process: With PaperCut's "Follow Me Print" feature, you'll send your print job to a virtual queue. You can then retrieve it from any existing MFP/Copier (in any building) by entering your designated code. No more worrying about finding an available printer or accidentally picking up someone else's print job. In the coming weeks, you will receive your unique PaperCut code via an email from scans@slrsd.org with the subject "Your SLRSD Printing and Copying PIN (PaperCut)". The "Follow Me Print" queue is automatically installed on your SLRSD-device and even works on Chromebooks as well!
Flexibility: If one copier is occupied or temporarily out of order, you can easily retrieve your print job from another one. This means less waiting and frustration. Important Note: To ensure optimal performance for the printing system, jobs held in the "Follow Me Print" queue which have not been released within 8 hours will automatically be deleted.
Confidentiality Assured: Your print job remains secure until you enter your code at the copier. This added layer of security ensures the privacy of your documents and offers you peace of mind that only you will have access to the physical copy.
User-Friendly: Using the same code, you can also log into the copier for copying and scanning purposes. All MFPs/Copiers can scan to either your email or Google Drive without having to enter your SLRSD email address into each and every device that you use.
